Assemble Instruction for our Electric Adult Tricycle

Read and understand these instructions before you begin the assembly. The bike comes partly assembled, and it is important to read the manual carefully before starting assembly, so the bicycle will be assembled in the correct order. It is recommended to be two people to assemble the cargo bike. Be aware that the bike must be re-tightened after some weeks of use. Make sure to check all parts of the bike and re-tighten all screws and bolts.

Adult Tricycle

Step 1: Assembly of the back and front frame

  1. It is recommended to assemble the bike on a soft surface to avoid scratches the paint.
  2. Open the box and take all parts out of the box. Unwrap all parts from the plastic wrapping.
  3. The four metal rods are mounted on the back end of the bike using the eight semi-long bolts and washers (see picture 1A, 1B and 1C)
  4. The front and back wheels are mounted (see picture 1D and 1E)

  5. The front part and back part of the frame is mounted with the four big bolts, washers and nuts (picture 1F and 1G)
  6. The fender brackets for the back fenders (picture 1H) and the back fenders (picture 1I) are mounted.
  7. The front fender is mounted with the metal hanger (picture 1J) and the long bolt (picture 1K)

Step 2: Fenders, front wheels and brake pads

Parts you need in step 2

  1. The magnetic ring is mounted on the inner side of the chain ring, so that the small taps in the magnetic ring secures that the ring stays in place (see picture 2A).
  2. The chain ring is mounted on the right side and the pedal arm on the left side (see picture 2B) and the protective cap is fastened (see picture 2C).
  3. The pedals are mounted (see picture 2D)
  4. The gear shifter is mounted on the rear axle (picture 2E and 2F)
  5. The chain is pulled through the sprockets on the gear shifter and the chain ring – and is assembled with a plier (see picture 2G and 2H)
  6. The chain guard is mounted (see picture 2I and 2J)

Step 3: Assemble the box

Parts you need in step 3

  1. The seat post and saddle is mounted (see picture 3A and 3B)
  2. The handlebar is mounted (see picture 3C and 3D) and the umbraco bolt securing the handlebar is tightened. Tighten all brake and gear handles on the handlebar and mount the display and bell (see picture 3E). The protective foil on the display is removed.

  3. The gear wire is pulled through the gear cable (see picture 3F and 3G) and the gear cable is mounted on the gear shifter (see picture 3H).
  4. The two brake cables are fastened in the brake handles (see picture 3I and 3J).
  5. One cable is mounted at the V-brake on the front wheel (see picture 3K and 3L). Before the cable is mounted in the V-brake, the brake pads are adjusted so that they hit the rim correctly and the movement on both sides of the wheel is even. This is done via adjusting the Phillips screws on the brake arms until the spring mechanism is even.
  6. The other cable is mounted on the disc brake on the rear axle as shown in picture 3M. It might be necessary to adjust the position of the disc brake on the rear axle a bit and tighten the umbraco bolt used for this.
  7. The electrical plugs for the motor is put together (see picture 3N and 3O) and the cable is secured on the front fork with two strips (see picture 3P)

Step 4: The rest of the equipment

Parts you need in step 4

  1. The bicycle basket is mounted with the clamps and a plier and this is mounted on the bike (see picture 4A, 4B and 4C)
  2. The reflectors for the wheels are mounted (see picture 4D)
  3. The cable holders are mounted (see picture 4E)
  4. Make sure that all moving parts on the rear axle is tightened – check the umbraco bolts (see picture 4F)

IMPortant info

  • The frame number is stamped into the frame on the left side of the bike – just in front of the left pedal.
  • Remember to adjust and re-tighten all moving parts on the bike after some weeks of use. If re-tightening of the spokes are needed, please use a spoke tightener.
